Sóknarprestur

Vælkomin til mítt poddvarp! Eg eri ættaður úr Saltangará og eri giftur við Tordis Kristiansdóttir úr Fuglafirði. Vit eiga tríggjar synir, sum eita Kristian, Jógvan og Kjartan. Kona mín er yvirlækni á onkologisku deild á Landssjúkrahúsinum. Sjálvur eri eg sóknarprestur í Eiðis prestagjaldi, og búgva vit sostatt eisini á Eiði.

Sum prestur havi eg sjálvsagt eisini áhuga fyri gudfrøði. Gudfrøði snýr seg um læruna um Gud og hitt guddómliga. Hetta er eftir mínum tykki sera áhugavert! Tað eru summi, sum ikki halda, at gudfrøði er áhugaverd, og sum heldur ikki duga at síggja, hvat ið ein skal brúka hetta til. Um Gud ikki var til, so dugi eg heldur ikki at síggja, hví ein skuldi lagt nakað í gudfrøði. Sjálvur eri eg tó sannførdur um, at Gud veruliga er til, og at hann hevur opinberað seg bæði alment gjøgnum tað, sum hann hevur skapað og serstakliga gjøgnum Jesus og gjøgnum profetar og ápostlar. Hebrearabrævið sigur tað eisini soleiðis: \"Eftir at Guð í forðum mangar ferðir og á mangan hátt hevði talað til fedrarnar gjøgnum profetarnar, hevur hann við endan á hesum døgum talað til okkara gjøgnum sonin\" (Hebr 1,1). Gud hevur talað, og tað ger hann enn í dag. Í grundini er tað hetta, sum ger gudfrøðina og trúarlívið sum heild so spennandi. Og eg vil gjarna skilja betur, hvat Gud hevur talað, og hvussu eg kann bera hansara orð víðari til onnur.
